Most robot myths contain apocalyptic stories. Humans view mechanical objects as a means to replace labor. However, the Galatea myth views mechanical objects from the perspective of companions living together.

The scenes of the Galatea performance were composed using four themes: the Vitruvian Man, AlphaGo, the Internet of Things, and a virtual mirror.
